Start Time: 8:50am

Dismissal: 3:40pm

Inclement Weather: Abbreviated Day Information

When the weather gets bad, Los Lunas Schools may move to an abbreviated day schedule. This means:

• School will start two hours later than normal.
  Normal start time: 8:50 AM, the abbreviated start time will be 10:50 AM.

• Dismissal times will stay the same for all schools.

• No breakfast will be served on abbreviated days.

• DD-preschool will not meet on these days.

Families will be notified of any schedule changes through major TV stations, the district website, and the Remind App(using contact information in the PowerSchool parent portal).

• 2-hour delay schedule
• 50% of instructional day synchronous by instructional staff
• 50% of instructional day asynchronous by instructional staff
• Breakfast available for pickup at sites (times TBD)
• 1 hour lunch for pickup at each site 11:30-12:30
• Notification: District Remind followed by school Remind with specific start time
