For the month of March, we will keep following the Character Counts Pillars with a continued focus on Fairness. Fairness is the quality of making judgements that are free from discrimination. Fairness means to be fair and treat everyone equally. Fairness means making a decision without playing favorites and not taking advantage of others. Fair minded people make impartial and rational judgements, keep an open mind, are reasonable, and rule abiding. Fairness is treating others as you would want to be treated. Students can earn one stamp a day on their Fairness card. Ten stamps fill up a card
and they will receive a prize. This month students will have an opportunity to earn a second card with a bigger prize when filled. Encourage and talk to your children about what it means to be fair and show fairness to others and what that looks like, so they can earn a prize and learn proper manners and skills.

Students will take part in an attendance challenge. If your child does not miss any days of school in the whole month, they will have an opportunity to win a prize through our attendance challenge tickets.

We will also be hosting our last Family Fun Run of the school year on Friday March 1st. We can’t wait to see everyone there!!
