RENAISSANCE AT SUNDANCE!

Dear Families,

We are thrilled to introduce a new initiative at our school for Renaissance! We want to recognize and reward our students for embodying the values that make our community strong. As part of our Renaissance program, we will be introducing classroom awards and immediate rewards. These will be prizes given by any staff member in the school to students who demonstrate what we call our “Tiger Tracks”: responsibility, respectfulness, accountability, confidence, and safety. When students show these important qualities, they will have the opportunity to receive a reward. This initiative is part of our ongoing effort to foster positive and supportive learning environments where every student is encouraged to thrive.

In addition to school-wide awards for “Tiger Tracks”, we will also be implementing a monthly attendance award. Students who maintain perfect attendance for the entire month will receive an award and a special prize! This is an excellent opportunity for students to strive for consistent attendance, which is crucial for their academic success. With a new chance to win the award and prize each month, we hope this will motivate students and families to make the most of their time at school.

Renaissance hosted our first fundraiser correlating with Homecoming for Los Lunas High School. We sold over 400 Tiger Pop Grams. We appreciate the love and support and will be delivering them Friday October 4th. Our next events being held by Renaissance will be our Family Fund Run and our Renaissance Lunch. Both of these events will be held on Friday October 11th. The Fund Run is open and welcome to parents to join but our Renaissance Lunch is for celebration with the students only. We will send Fund Run Flyers home on Tuesday October 1st. The last day to send the Fund Run Flyers will be Thursday October 10th. Lastly we will be hosting our annual Halloween Renaissance Assembly. This is an open invite for all to join us on the day of this event. This event will take place outside on the outdoor stage and will begin promptly at 9:35AM. Parents must have an ID to sign in to the front office to be able to join us for our famous Halloween Assembly. The teachers always make this event fun for everyone, lets bring the fun!

Renaissance will be hosting many events for our school this year. Please keep your eye out for these events!
