INNOVATION DESIGN LAB

Happy New Year, students and families! We’re excited to kick off 2026 with fresh ideas, creative challenges, and hands-on learning in the Innovation Design Lab. January is a wonderful time to reset, explore, and spark new and creative innovations.

Film Festival Fun & Exciting News!

Our Film Festival is in full swing, and students are busy filming in 2D/3D, Stop- Motion, iMovie, Cap Cut, Clips, as well as editing and creating their own imaginative stories and documentaries. We can’t wait to showcase their work next month!

Our Kindergartners, First graders, and Second graders have started coding with Bee-Bots and Indy Spheros. We are also reading storybooks and drawing and typing

our favorite part of the story.

Reminder: Please bring your iPad charged to every class!!

If your student loses or breaks their device, charger, Apple Pencil/Logitech Pen, please let the homeroom teacher and Mrs. Barela know right away (tbarela@llschools.net)
