Music Notes

I have two things to share with you this month. First, an exciting update about our December classes. The majority of our classes were able to earn enough stickers to receive the mystery prize this semester. The mystery prize was a great incentive for the students to continue to exhibit good behavior and work together as a team.

As a reward, students participated in a variety of activities, including singing holiday songs, playing instruments, folk dancing, and performing for their buddy classes. It was heartwarming to see the students working together to achieve a common goal and being rewarded for their efforts.

The other thing I would like to share is I am expecting a baby at the end January, and I will be taking
approximately nine weeks of leave from my teaching position. During my absence, I have arranged for a
guest teacher, Mark Scholz, to take over my classes. Mr. Scholz is a retired music teacher with many years
of experience in the field. He is passionate about teaching and has an extensive background in music
education. I am confident that he will provide my students with a high-quality learning experience in my
absence.

I understand that my leave may cause some disruptions to the usual routine, but I assure you that I have taken all the necessary steps to ensure that my students will continue to receive the best education possible. I will be in touch with Mr. Scholz regularly and will be available to answer any questions or concerns you may have during my leave.

I am grateful for your understanding and support during this exciting time in my life. I look forward to
returning to the classroom and continuing to work with your child.
